About Us

The Automotive Recyclers of Massachusetts (ARM) is a nonprofit organization formed by professional automotive recyclers to help our members succeed and to increase the public’s awareness of the economic and environmental impact of the automotive recycling industry.

We represents more than 300 licensed companies across Massachusetts that employ more than 3,000 people. We promote established best management practices for the proper reuse and recycling of automotive vehicles and their parts.

Our facilities are routinely inspected by the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) and we partner with law-enforcement officials on the local, state and federal levels to track all vehicles we process. We participate in the U.S. Department of Justice National Motor Vehicle Title Information System that was created to help curb auto theft.

ARM is an affiliate of the national Automotive Recyclers Association.
